Withdrawal Policy
Our Withdrawal Policy can be summarised, but not exhaustively as the user being required Deposit and Rake $50 to Withdraw for Poker.
In the event the user plays on multiple products or others aside from only poker, a sufficient and reasonable level of play is required to cover processing, administrative fees and to ensure HighStakes is used to wager, not as a banking service.
1. Withdraw Processing Time
HighStakes aims to process withdrawals in 48 hours. Some requests may take up to 3-7 days depending on the amount and method used.
2. Closed-Loop deposits and withdrawal
HighStakes operates with a closed-loop policy whereby the user must withdraw to the method the funds originated (deposited) from. When multiple deposit sources are used the funds are withdrawn across these in a proportional manner.
3. Withdrawal Fees
HighStakes will charge no fees for any withdrawals. Please note that your deposit method may charge you a small % which can be found on their TOS page.
4. Exchange Rates and Volatility of Exchange Rates
HighStakes will clearly display the exchange rate you are receiving at the time of the withdrawal. This is taken from Google Finance.
5. Fraud Prevention
All withdrawals go through an internal review to ensure that fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing, legal obligations and regulatory requirements are met. As a result withdrawals may be put on hold for a short period of time until investigated thoroughly.
HighStakes have the right to cancel any withdrawal and return the funds to your cashier where:
- There are fraud concerns.
- The user withdraws without playing any games.
- The player tries to withdraw funds received from a P2P transfer.
- The chosen withdrawal method is not the same as where the original deposit came from.
6. Player Transfers (P2P)
Players cannot withdraw funds originating from a P2P which have not been used to play with.
7. Safety and Security
Player funds are held in segregated bank accounts which shall not be used for any operational purpose. This ensures that your funds can be withdrawn in accordance with our fraud prevention procedures.
8. Bonus Withdrawals
Bonus funds can only be withdrawn once they have been cleared and have met our Terms of Service requirements.
Winnings from promotional features such as the HighStakes Wheel are treated as bonus funds and are subject to additional withdrawal conditions:
Bonus funds cannot be withdrawn if your account is in a net loss position, meaning total withdrawals exceed total deposits plus overall profit (P&L).
If your total withdrawals exceed your account’s total profit, any withdrawal request involving bonus funds may be declined, delayed, or subject to review.
HighStakes™ reserves the right to withhold or reject withdrawals where promotional funds are being withdrawn contrary to the intended purpose of the bonus or in a way that undermines fair promotional use.
These conditions exist to protect the integrity of promotions and ensure fair use across all users.
9. Guidance and Limitations
HighStakes terms and conditions relating to withdrawals are as follows:
- Maximum withdrawal per user per month: $30,000
- Maximum withdrawal per user per week: $5,000
- VIP and regular users can contact support to increase limits and complete additional verification. Users can withdraw as many times per month as wished, but are limited to 1 withdrawal for every 5 days
Additional KYC is encouraged for serious users to expedite the process and is especially useful if a user deposits and withdraws using multiple payment methods.
Depending on the user profile a player might be required to contribute > 50% of their total withdrawals, including any pending withdrawal request in poker rake. This clause is of particular importance for users who participate in freerolls, target overlay tournaments and are deemed not to be beneficial to poker ecology. Factors taken into account include total player deposits, player rake, withdrawals already processed and user score.
10. Methods
In rare cases HighStakes may ask the user to withdraw via another method in the event the specific payment method e.g. Paysafe Card, that was used for deposit, cannot process cashouts.
11. Withdrawable vs Non-Withdrawable Funds
To maintain transparency and fairness, HighStakes™ distinguishes between different types of funds held in your account:
Withdrawable Funds
-
Rakeback and earned rewards based on real-money gameplay.
-
Cleared bonuses that have met all wagering and Terms of Service requirements.
-
Profits where net withdrawals do not exceed total profit (P&L).
Non-Withdrawable Funds
-
HighStakes Wheel winnings or other promotional bonuses if your account is in a net loss position (i.e. you have withdrawn more than your deposits plus profit).
-
Any uncleared bonus balance or promotional funds that have not satisfied all wagering or eligibility conditions.
These guidelines are in place to ensure that promotions reward active, fair play — not repeated extraction of bonuses without sustainable participation.
