The dealer then deals out two cards each for the player and banker – face up—and whichever hand totals closest to nine wins.

A tie is worth 8-1?

If the cards dealt total more than nine, you add the two numbers together and drop the one (or two) to get the value.

For example, a 6 and a 7 gives 13, drop the 1 and you have 3.
